My name is David Houldcroft and I am proud to be the Captain of Westwood Golf Club for 2018.I have been a member here for over 25 years and I can assure you that it is a very friendly and welcoming club.
The course itself is a tale of 2 contrasting halves.The front nine is hilly and contoured and provides fantastic views. Myfavourite part is the view to the left down the fifth hole where you can see amazing views of 'the roaches' which provides a rugged but beautiful backdrop.
The back nine is a complete contrast and is very flat but there are some lovely challenging holes to keep you entertained with a nice mix of hazards.
The club house has great facilities.I had my wedding reception here years ago and the newly refurbished bar area is great for parties or just catching up with mates .The bar and catering is known to provide quality food and drink at an affordable price.The Sunday carvery is very good and I cant recommend it highly enough.
In closing whether you want to visit as a golfer, become a member or just pop in for food or drink you can be sure you will receive a warm welcome.
