Hours: Average 30 per week
This is an opportunity to join a small team dedicated to providing a full bar and catering service to
members, guests and societies. You will cook and serve a variety of dishes reflecting seasonal
variations or particular occasions considering cultural preferences and dietary requirements.
Occasionally you will cater for ad-hoc special events including weddings, birthday celebrations and
Christmas parties. You will also cater for the very popular weekly carvery. Managing the kitchen
supplies you will also be responsible for checking and maintaining kitchen equipment.
You will be someone who is happy working as part of a small team or from time to time on your
own. Due to the nature of golf club opening hours, shorter in the winter and longer during the
summer months, you will need to be prepared to work flexible hours including weekends and
evenings. You will be passionate about food and understand the importance of delivering quality
home cooking to our members and guests. You will have at least a level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
